Time hasn't changed the cabins appearance
Amazingly it looks the same as it did before
Unfortunately it hasn't been that way for me
Many dear ones I love aren't with me anymore.
I was just a boy when grandpa built his cabin
The times he and I spent the night here together
We found it diffcult for the sun to rise
Nonents like those will stay with me forever..
Grandpa lives in heaven now, but I feel him near
Especially on nights I spend in his cabin alone
My eyes cannot see grandpa, but he's not gone.
He lives in my heart..
