Is your wealth measured
in silver or gold,
or is it measured by
the dreams you hold.
Is your worldly gain in life
why you stay alive,
or are you one who lives
in unwanted strife.



Do you measure others
as equal to yourself,
or do you feel above them
and to their voices act deaf.
Do you turn your eyes
away from shame,
or help the ones you know
who take the blame.



Are your dreams filled
with furture thoughts,
or do you live in the past
and dwell on life's naught.
Do you smile at the
beginning of each day,
or wear a frown and
want it to stay.



Do you shed tears while
your all alone at night,
when things are dark and
cold and cause a fright.
These are life's individual
choices we all must make.
Only ones who have not lived,
have never made any mistakes.



Do you live each day to it's
fullest doing the best you can.
Live to Honor the Great Spirit
and your fellow man.



For there is no promise
of tomorrow for you nor I,
hold on to today because it
will quickly be passing by.



The memories you leave behind will
be a legacy of you speaking of
what you have done and didn't do.
May no ones life ever be lived in,
may a lesson be taught from each
of our lives and passed on again.
