Winter In Our Village
Winter in our village
We have moved
to our winter village
We keep the fires going
in our teepee's to stay warm
The fire outside is to cook on..
The Braves have hunted
for deer and buffalo.
The wonam picked berries
and the wild vegetables.
Mother nature has blessed us.
The Spirits watch over us.
As we live in our winter village
Till spring comes and warms
Mother Earth...
The cold winds and snow
are hard on our elders
The great Spirit is always
There to watch over them.
Our children play all day.
Mother nature provides for us
So when you think of
the Native American's
think of what they went through
While the whites stand warm
and had plenty of food.
So Thank God for
all He's given you!!!
